Fig - Ficus carica 'Precose de Dalmatie'
Ficus carica 'Precose de Dalmatie' - a variety with two fruiting periods per year. The fruits are large, fragrant, with excellent taste - considered among the sweetest and most aromatic figs.
Fruit size: around 80-100 grams at the first harvest (Breba) and 70-80 grams in autumn. However, it compensates with a significantly larger autumn yield.
A compact variety of medium stature - reaching a height of about 3m, with a diameter of about 3-4m.
Horticultural origin: Island of Lesina (Hvar), Dalmatian Coast (Croatia)
Other known names: Ficus carica 'Precoce de Dalmatie'
Garden hardiness. Withstands down to -20°C without significant losses. Hardiness increases as the plant matures, the root system develops, and the branches thicken. It is recommended to protect the plants in the first years by wrapping them with microporous foil (frost protection foil, Agril-type foil, etc.). Frost cases in fig trees involve damage to the above-ground parts - but the root remains alive, and the plant regrows in spring.
Resistance to diseases and pests. Fig trees are considered ‘pest free’.
Parthenocarpic variety - it is self-fertile and does not require a pollinator.

Pot diameter: 14-15 cm. Height including pot: 40-60 cm.
Plants for garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shade nets or hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - leaves may show marks, defects, or other damage.
In the autumn-winter season, fig trees are sold without leaves.
