Rubus 'Thornless Boysenberry' is a special hybrid obtained by crossing blackberry and raspberry, known for the absence of thorns and its exceptionally large and flavorful fruits. This cultivar resulted from plant breeding efforts aimed at eliminating the inconvenient thorns of traditional boysenberry varieties.

The 'Thornless Boysenberry' fruits are recognized for their distinctive taste, which is a combination of raspberry and blackberry flavors. The fruits are large, dark-colored, almost black, and have an elongated shape. They are very sweet, juicy, and aromatic, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making jams, jellies, or cakes.

One of the main advantages of this cultivar is the lack of thorns (which are present only as fine hairs that do not prick), making harvesting much easier and more pleasant. This is an important aspect, especially for home gardeners or those who want to involve children in gardening activities.

It withstands temperatures down to -25 °C. For abundant fruit production, it should be planted in a sunny area, without neglecting irrigation.

Very resistant plant to diseases and pests.
Height including pot: approx. 30 cm (varies depending on the season)
Pot diameter: 11-14 cm or 2 liters

Garden or terrace plants are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shade nets or hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - leaves may show marks, defects, or other damage.

During the cold season, plants enter a period of dormancy.
