Portulaca grandiflora XL, floarea de piatra
Purslane, also known by the popular name stone flower , is an annual succulent plant, appreciated for its vibrant flowers, in shades of pink, yellow, orange, red or white , and for its ability to bloom profusely in the sunniest and warmest corners of the garden. The leaves are fleshy, cylindrical or linear, and the creeping habit makes it an excellent choice for borders, planters, rockeries or as a ground cover.
Being extremely drought-resistant and with minimal maintenance, purslane is ideal for beginner gardeners or for areas where other plants do not withstand.
