Care
1. Light
• It prefers bright indirect light to keep the leaves healthy and shiny.
• It can tolerate lower light, but growth may be slower.
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause burns on the leaves.
2. Temperature
• The ideal temperature for this plant is between 18-24°C. Avoid temperatures below 15°C and cold drafts, which can affect the health of the plant.
3. humidity
• It does well in medium humidity conditions, but can also tolerate drier indoor air. If the air is very dry, you can spray the leaves occasionally or place the plant near a humidifier.
4. Watering
• Water the plant moderately, when the top layer of soil is dry. Make sure the pot has good drainage to prevent waterlogging and root rot.
• Reduce watering in the cold season, when the plant goes dormant.
5. ground
• Use a well-drained soil mix, such as potting soil, combined with perlite or sand to improve drainage.
6. Fertilization
• Fertilize the plant once a month during spring and summer, using a liquid fertilizer for ornamental plants through the leaves.
• During the winter, fertilization is not necessary.
7. Replanting
• Repot the plant every 2-3 years or when the roots fill the pot.
• Choose a pot with good drainage and use fresh soil.
8. Trimming and maintenance
• Remove yellow or dry leaves to keep the plant healthy.
• Wipe the leaves periodically with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain a shiny appearance.
