Iedera - Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' (Iedera Persana variegata)
Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata', also known as Persian variegated ivy, is a perennial climbing plant native to the Caucasus region. It is valued for its large, bright green leaves edged with white or cream, which add a beautiful contrast and brightness to any landscape.
This variety of ivy is robust and easy to maintain, able to grow in sun or shade conditions and tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Due to its ability to cling easily, Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' is ideal for covering fences, walls, or for spreading on the ground as ground cover.
This variety of ivy is also resistant to cold and pollution, making it an excellent choice for urban gardens. Like other ivies, 'Dentata Variegata' may require occasional care to control excessive growth.
Cold resistance: withstands well down to -15 °C. At lower temperatures, the plant loses some leaves/shoots but regenerates quickly in spring.
