Mandevilla , also known as Dipladenia , is a decorative plant of tropical origin, noted for its large flowers, in intense shades of red , pink , white or coral , which bloom abundantly throughout the warm season. It is ideal for decorating terraces, balconies, pergolas or as an indoor plant in bright spaces.

• Plant type: perennial climber (in Romania it is grown seasonally or as an indoor plant)

• Foliage: dark green, glossy, oval-shaped, persistent

• Flowers: large, trumpet-shaped, with 5 petals, in vibrant colors (sold by color – red, pink, white, etc.)

• Flowering: from May to autumn, continuous and abundant flowering

• Light: prefers full sun or bright partial shade

• Soil: well-drained, slightly acidic, rich in humus

• Watering: regular , but not excessive – the substrate should be slightly moist, not soaked.

• Minimum temperature: does not withstand temperatures below 10°C – must be protected or moved indoors in winter

• Maintenance: removing faded flowers stimulates flowering; requires tutelage to guide growth
