Lonicera caerulea 'Zojka', also popularly called Siberian blueberry or honeyberry. White flowers appear in May, followed by long, green fruits that turn blue when ripe, similar to blueberries, with a sweet-sour, aromatic taste, similar to honey.
Honeysuckle fruits are very rich in vitamin C and antioxidants - about 5 times richer than blueberries. Siberian blueberries can grow in any garden, in full sun or semi-shade, and can withstand temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius.
Lonicera caerulea 'Zojka' produces larger and sweeter fruits than other varieties. The first fruits ripen in May.
