Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' - large specimens
Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' - cultivar of Hoya krohniana that presents leaves with mutation, respectively silver splash that covers the leaf completely or partially.
Hoya krohniana - a species that stands out for its shiny and structured leaves, heart-shaped, with silver splash. The flowers are creamy white, fluffy and strongly scented, being almost similar to those of Hoya lacunosa.
Like Hoya lacunosa, krohniana tends to bloom constantly throughout the warm season. The flowers have a lifespan of 4-7 days, depending on the growing conditions.
Hoya krohniana was published in 2009 as a distinct species, before this date it was known and marketed as Hoya lacunosa 'Heart Leaf'. The new leaves are heart-shaped, but as the plant matures, a certain variability appears, some of them changing their shape.
The foliage acquires a very pleasant appearance, with garnet - almost black colors, when the plant is grown in strong light. Good light also favors abundant flowering.
Pot diameter: 14 cm, with hooks
Note: Lianas are fragile and may suffer during transport. The length of the lianas varies from one specimen to another and depending on the season.
