Ivy - Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' (Idera Persana variegata)

Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata', also known as variegated Persian ivy, is a perennial climbing plant, originally from the Caucasus region. It is appreciated for its large, bright green leaves, edged in white or cream, which add a beautiful contrast and brightness to any landscape.

This variety of ivy is robust and easy to maintain, being able to grow in sun or shade conditions and being tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Due to its ability to cling easily, Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' is ideal for covering fences, walls or to be left to spread on the ground as a ground cover.

This variety of ivy is also resistant to cold and pollution, which makes it an excellent choice for urban gardens. Like other ivy, 'Dentata Variegata' may require occasional care to control excessive growth.

Cold resistance: withstands well up to -15 °C. At lower temperatures, the plant loses leaves/stems, but it regenerates quickly in the spring.
