Iedera - Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' (Iedera Persana variegata)
Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata', also known as variegated Persian ivy, is a perennial climbing plant native to the Caucasus region. It is valued for its large, bright green leaves edged with white or cream, which add a beautiful contrast and brightness to any setting.
This variety of ivy is sturdy and easy to care for, able to grow in both sunny and shady conditions and tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Due to its ability to cling easily, Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata' is ideal for covering fences, walls, or for spreading over the ground as a ground cover.
This variety of ivy is also frost- and pollution-resistant, making it an excellent choice for city gardens. Like other ivies, 'Dentata Variegata' may require occasional care to control excessive growth.
Frost resistance: withstands well down to -15 °C. At lower temperatures, the plant may lose leaves/shoots but quickly regenerates in spring.
