Eucalyptus stellulata, also known as "Black Sallee" or "Black Sally," is a species of eucalyptus native to Australia. It is a small to medium-sized tree, usually ranging from 10 to 20 meters in height. The leaves are lance-shaped and have a blue-green color.

Eucalyptus stellulata has a straight trunk with rough bark, gray or black at the base, while the rest of the trunk and branches are covered with smoother, peeling bark.

The flower is white and appears between January and April in Australia (during summer in Romania). Its fruits are conical or cup-shaped, with a thin wall.

Eucalyptus stellulata is mainly found in mountainous areas at high altitudes, on acidic, well-drained soils. In Australia, it is mostly found in the New South Wales and Victoria regions.

The tree is used for ornamental purposes, soil restoration, or for harvesting fine timber. It is also important for beekeeping, as it provides a rich source of nectar and pollen.

It does not require special soil and is resistant to diseases and pests, being naturally considered "pest free." It withstands temperatures down to -20 °C without needing winter protection.

Height including pot: approx. 60+ cm (varies depending on the season)

The appearance of the leaves may vary from one specimen to another – eucalyptus leaves change as they mature.

Note: This variety may show leaves/branches with defects or affected new growth, especially in the warm season – these aspects are due to international transport (these are imported plants), are characteristic of the species (it is a more sensitive variety), and do not affect the plants' viability.

Recommendation: We recommend planting the eucalyptus in the garden or in large pots placed outdoors during the summer. It is an outdoor plant and does not do well long-term in small pots. Do not expose the plant to strong sunlight before planting.
