Growing tips for Clematis tangutica varieties
In some more exotic countries, these wonderful plants are considered invasive and troublesome, but this is not the case in Europe. Tangutica clematis are extremely useful in the garden, providing colour and interest from mid-summer until the end of autumn, most producing excellent seed heads for added interest during the winter months. They do well in warm, sunny locations and tolerate drought, even in poorer conditions where you might expect difficulties. They will not tolerate very clayey soils that remain waterlogged, nor overflooding. They are very easy to grow and require minimal maintenance, with simple pruning. Avoid letting them become too wet in their first autumn and winter in the soil or, alternatively, plant them in spring.
Tangutica may be slow to show new shoots and growth in spring, so do not panic or think they are dead, they are just resting longer!

Height including pot: 40-60 cm (varies depending on season)
Pot diameter: 14-17 cm

Plants for garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shade nets or hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they may not have perfect foliage - leaves may show marks, defects, or other damage.

In the autumn-winter season, plants are sold without leaves.
