Clematite cu flori rosii, mari - Clematis 'Nubia' (Boulevard Red - Evipo079) (Late Large-flowered Group)
Clematis 'Nubia' - a variety with large, star-shaped flowers in an intense velvety red, with dark red-purple stamens. The color intensity amazes and attracts all eyes. The flowers range in size from 8 to 15 cm.
Classification: Late Large-flowered Group
Growing recommendations:
This type of clematis prefers good quality soil, rich in nutrients, moist but well-drained. It is recommended to improve the soil with manure or compost at planting, if possible. In the case of cultivation in drier soils that tend to dry out quickly, cover the base with a layer of shredded bark (or another type of mulch) to retain soil moisture.
Clematis generally prefer a growing space with good sun exposure.
It is not necessary to remove the wilted flowers of these clematis, but if they seem to have finished blooming earlier than expected, a light pruning can encourage new growth and a secondary bloom late in the fall.
During the cold season, the plants appear as leafless sticks that look dry – this is perfectly normal and the plants are fully viable.
Height including pot: 60-70 cm
