Also known by the popular name Waterfall Palm or Cataract Palm , Chamaedorea cataractarum is a species of dwarf palm with a bushy habit, native to Mexico and Central America. It stands out for its intense green foliage and rich appearance , making it an excellent choice for decorating bright interior spaces, but protected from direct sunlight.

• Plant type: evergreen palm growing in a bush

• Mature height: 1 – 1.5 m in pots

• Foliage: pinnate, arched, leaves composed of fine, glossy leaflets

• Stems: multiple, thin, similar to bamboo
