Artemisia abrotanum (Wood of God, Coca-Cola Plant) - biological culture

Artemisia abrotanum is a valuable plant with multiple benefits - in some countries it is used as a medicinal plant (for teas or various preparations), in Italy it is considered a spice, in antiquity it was used as an air freshener and to keep away moths.

The plant emits a very interesting smell, similar to that of Coca-Cola or Pepsi, repels insects. For therapeutic purposes, the leaves and flowering branches are harvested, which contain essential oils, abrotin, bitter substances and tannins. The plant is also considered a good disinfectant. A few dry twigs placed in the closet keep moths away. More recently, it is also used for the preparation of soft drinks.
