The fruits ripen in mid-summer, and the productivity is very high. It develops and fruits quickly, 1 year after planting. The fruit is suitable both for fresh consumption and for jams, jams or other preparations.

Ribes uva-crispa 'Spine Free' prefers partially shaded, cooler locations. In the warm season, the plant appreciates additional irrigation. It grows upwards in the form of a vigorous bush, reaching up to 120 cm.
