Vaccinium corymbosum 'North Country' is a variety of American blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum) belonging to the Ericaceae family. 'North Country' is a hardy and productive cultivar, specifically developed to thrive in cold climate areas.

The 'North Country' blueberry is a small to medium-sized perennial shrub, reaching a mature height between 100 cm and 150 cm, with a similar width. The leaves are oval, green, and change color to beautiful shades of red and orange in autumn.

In spring, the 'North Country' blueberry produces small, greenish-white, bell-shaped flowers that appear in clusters. The flowers are followed by fruits that ripen in the summer months. The fruits of Vaccinium corymbosum 'North Country' are dark blue, medium-sized, and have a sweet and fragrant taste. The fruits can be eaten fresh but are also ideal for making jams, jellies, or cakes.

The 'North Country' blueberry can be fertilized with organic fertilizer between March and May.

The American blueberry 'North Country' prefers acidic, moist, and well-drained soils, and grows best in full sun or partly shaded areas. It is resistant to low temperatures and has very good tolerance to diseases and pests. To maintain the plant's productivity and health, it is important to remove old shoots and adjust the soil acidity every spring.
