Pilosocereus azureus is an attractive and relatively easy-care cactus native to Brazil. It is known for its slender blue-green stems and white flowers that appear in spring.
Light: Pilosocereus azureus needs intense sunlight, but must be protected from strong afternoon sun.
Soil: Pilosocereus azureus prefers a well-drained potting mix, especially for cacti and succulents.
Watering: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. It is more important to underwater than to overwater this cactus.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month in spring and summer, using a balanced cactus fertilizer.
