The "Meeker" raspberry is an American summer variety with a very long fruiting period, remarkable for the vigorous development of young shoots and its attractive dark red fruits. This variety is easy to care for, needing only a sunny place and a cut at the end of autumn. The fruits are juicy, sweet, firm and keep well.

Cultivation of this fast-growing variety presents no problems, but it is essential to avoid planting in swampy areas. The "Meeker" raspberry is resistant and produces fruit on long and flexible shoots, for 2 years, which are easy to harvest.
