Early flowering Wisteria - Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls'
Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls' is a cultivar obtained by Head Ornamentals Inc. in the United States. It is appreciated for its very early flowering (even small specimens bloom) and for its spectacular, fragrant flowers, which appear in the form of clusters of dark purple or almost blue color, reminiscent of amethyst, hence the name 'Amethyst Falls'. This wisteria variety is more compact and domestic (and less invasive) than other species, making it ideal for smaller gardens or to be grown in containers. The flowers appear in the spring and often again in the summer, and the plant can grow quickly, being preferred for covering pergolas, fences or other garden structures.
Height with pots included: approx. 50-60 cm (varies depending on the season)
The plant is sold without flowers. The displayed price is for one pot.
