Productive bicolor wisteria - Wisteria floribunda 'Domino' (fragrant flowers)
Wisteria floribunda 'Domino', also known as Japanese wisteria 'Domino', is a remarkable variety due to its impressive flowers. It produces long, pendulous clusters of light purple flowers that can reach lengths of up to 50 cm. The flowers appear in the spring and often continue to bloom sporadically throughout the summer, adding a spectacular and fragrant touch to the garden.
Compared to Wisteria sinensis (Chinese wisteria), Wisteria floribunda 'Domino' develops longer flower clusters and has a longer flowering period. Also, unlike Wisteria frutescens (American wisteria), which is often more compact and less invasive, 'Domino' can grow faster and require more maintenance to control spread.
Like all wisteria, 'Domino' prefers a sunny spot and well-drained soil. It needs regular maintenance by cutting to control growth and to stimulate flowering.

Plants for the garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shading nets or anti-hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - the leaves can show traces, defects or other damages.
In the cold season, the plants enter the period of vegetative rest.
