Vaccinium corymbosum 'Early Blue' is an excellent early season blueberry variety. It produces a large quantity of delicious fruit from June onwards.
'Early Blue' is self-fertile, but for best results, plant alongside 1 or 2 other blueberry varieties.

From a commercial point of view, the Early Blue blueberry is considered one of the top varieties.

- needs acidic soil
- can reach a height of 1.2 m and a width of 0.9 m
- pruning: a younger shrub requires less pruning than a shrub over three years old.
