Tillandsia streptophylla, also known as “Shirley Temple Air Plant” due to its spirally twisted leaves, is one of the most spectacular air plants. The broad leaves, covered with a fine silvery layer, elegantly curl as the plant absorbs moisture from the air, forming a distinctive architectural rosette.

Family: Bromeliaceae
Origin: Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean
Foliage: broad, silvery-green, velvety, naturally curling under low humidity conditions
Flowers: intense pink, with shades of purple and violet; durable and decorative inflorescence
Size: 10–20 cm (adult plant)

Light: strong, indirect light; also adapts well to airy and bright spaces
