Thunbergia alata ‘Rosa Sensation’ (Suzana cu ochi negri)

Thunbergia alata 'Rose Sensation' is a delicate and particularly attractive variety, appreciated for its flowers in refined shades of powder pink to salmon pink, each with an intensely contrasting, velvety black center - a detail that gives it that distinctive "eye". The plant has a vigorous growth and an excellent covering capacity, being ideal for vertical decoration.

Decorative use:

It is an excellent choice for hanging pots, planters, trellises, pergolas or as a trailing plant on sunny balconies and terraces. It creates a romantic and airy effect, thanks to the combination of pastel flowers and raw green, heart-shaped foliage.

Growing conditions:

• Light: requires direct sun or bright partial shade

• Soil: well-drained, moderately fertile

• Watering: constant, without water stagnation - slightly moist substrate

• Optimum temperature: 18–28°C

• Cold resistance: does not tolerate temperatures below 10°C - in Romania it is grown as an annual or overwintered in a protected space
