Sweet lime (Citrus limetta pursha Larissa)
Sweet Lime or Pursha is a hybrid resulting from the crossbreeding of a lime and a chinotto.
This is a plant with very abundant fruiting. The flowers are white and fragrant, as with all citrus. Flowering mainly occurs in spring, but the plant often blooms throughout the rest of the year as well. The fruits are yellow, similar to mandarins, and have a taste similar to lemon but slightly sweeter.
Survives in a protected place down to -8 degrees Celsius.
