Culvita Potgrond Universal BIO is a high-quality universal growing medium, suitable for planting and repotting a wide range of indoor, balcony, patio, seasonal, and perennial plants grown in pots or planters.

The formula contains organic fertilizer, which provides plants with nutrients for approximately 12 weeks / 3 months, depending on the temperature and growth rate. The growing medium has a low-peat composition and includes plant fibers, green compost, and pine bark, providing a balanced structure that supports root development.

🌿 What the BIO label on the packaging means

The BIO label primarily refers to the use of organic fertilizer and the presence of raw materials of natural origin, such as green compost, biofibers, wood fibers, and bark.

🌱 Composition

The growing medium is made from:

• peat;
• wood fibers;
• biofibers;
• green compost;
• French maritime pine bark;
• limestone;
• organic fertilizer.

Limestone is added to regulate the pH, while the peat used by Culvita is RPP-certified.

💧 Directions for use

Loosen the contents of the bag thoroughly before use. Moisten the plant’s root ball, then place the plant in a clean pot with drainage holes. Fill with growing medium to approximately 1–2 cm below the rim of the container, press down gently, and water according to the plant’s needs.

After approximately 3 months, additional fertilization may be necessary, depending on the species and growth rate.

📌 Note

Due to the organic and alternative raw materials used, the growing medium may sometimes feel slightly warm to the touch. This is normal and may occur as a result of residual biological processes in the mixture; it does not affect the product’s quality.

As this product is made from natural raw materials, there may be slight differences in texture, moisture, compaction, and volume between packages. These variations are normal.
