Skimmia Rubella Japonica, also known as the Japanese Lilac, is an ornamental, perennial shrub with evergreen foliage, native to Japan and China, and is very popular due to its intensely colored flowers and fruits.
It blooms from April to May, and at the end of the flowering period, small fruits appear, grouped in clusters, which last until the following year.

Placement: The Japanese Lilac loves light, but during the summer it is recommended to place it in an area protected from strong sunlight. It requires well-drained soil.
Characteristics: Skimmia Japonica tolerates both high and low temperatures well. It grows harmoniously at temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.

It can withstand garden temperatures down to -25 degrees Celsius.
