Yellow raspberry, productive - Rubus idaeus Lowberry® 'Goodasgold®' (organic culture)

Rubus idaeus Lowberry® 'Goodasgold®' is a new generation variety, which stands out for its ability to fruit early (before the start of the season), abundantly, but also for its small size. The plant remains compact, rarely exceeding 100 cm in height. It frequently produces a second harvest (depending on the climate of that year), and the fruits are particularly aromatic and sweet.

The main harvest appears at the beginning of June on the branches from the previous year, and the second one at the beginning of September (until November even) on the annual branches. For this reason, it is necessary to pay more attention to pruning - it is preferable to remove only what is absolutely necessary and to shape the plant on a fence/support.

The raspberry Rubus idaeus Lowberry® 'Goodasgold®' is a cultivar of medium vigor, with a very good resistance to diseases and pests, an aspect that indicates the possibility of ecological cultivation without difficulties.

The fruits are large for a raspberry, firm, easy to pick, sweet and aromatic - a real attraction at the beginning of the warm season.

Plants for the garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shading nets or anti-hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - the leaves can show traces, defects or other damage.

In the cold season, the plants enter vegetative rest, are shortened and are leafless.
