Rubus fruticosus 'Merton Thornless' is a variety of blackberry without thorns, self-fertile, producing exceptionally large black fruits - up to 2.5 cm.

Rubus fruticosus 'Merton Thornless' is valued for its vigor and the superior quality of its fruits. It bears fruit from August to September.
For best results, it is recommended to place it in a sunny spot and water during the warm season.

It withstands temperatures down to -25 °C. A very hardy plant against diseases and pests.
