Rosmarinus officinalis 'Speedy' - cultivar that grows very quickly.

Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) is an aromatic evergreen shrub of the Lamiaceae family, native to the Mediterranean region. It is valued both as a culinary herb and as an ornamental or medicinal plant.

🔹 Botanical characteristics

Habit : Branched shrub, 0.5–2 m tall, with woody stems and gray bark.

Leaves : Needle-like, 2–4 cm long, dark green on the front and silvery-white on the back, with an intense aroma.

Flowers : Light blue to purple, occasionally white or pink; generally appear in spring and fall, arranged in clusters at the base of the leaves.

Fruits : Small, dark brown nuts.

Light : Full sun; flowering and maximum volatile oil content in bright areas.

Soil : Light, well-drained, calcareous or sandy; tolerates poor soils.
