Pot roses are smaller versions of common roses, and although they vary in many ways, they all have small flowers, sometimes fragrant. They originate from China, from the Chinese rose (Rosa chinensis minima).
Dwarf roses are naturally hardy in the garden throughout the year – they are perennial plants that are easy to care for and almost always in bloom. In height, the plants range from 13 cm or less, up to 0.9 - 1.2 meters.
Also, dwarf roses adapt very well as houseplants, but unlike other indoor plants, roses need strong light.
Placement: if kept indoors, they need a large pot and a bright, airy space with a cooler temperature during winter. Planted outside, they will grow well in a sunny spot.

Characteristics: after each flowering, prune all the tips to encourage sprouting and bud formation. If kept in pots, fertilize them throughout the warm season. If planted in the garden, prepare them for winter in autumn. Cut all stems short and mound soil around them.
