Rosa 'Blackberry Nip'® - a star rose, truly impressive. With a very strong perfume (which will definitely remind you of your grandmother's garden), rated as top, this rose is definitely unforgettable. Its color is spectacular and varies from shades of intense pink, magenta, to a deep purple.
The 'Blackberry Nip' rose won the most fragrant rose award at the 'Rose of the Year' competition in Auckland in 1999. It also received the 'South Pacific Silver Star' at the Palmerston North National Rose Competition in 1998, which which is the highest award given to an amateur breeder until that moment.
Flowering is abundant and permanent, in waves, from spring to late autumn. It shows good resistance to specific diseases.
