Pomegranate - Punica granatum 'Crimson Sky' - a vigorous variety, very hardy to cold, self-fertile, with medium to large fruits that ripen early in October, juicy, with a strong aroma and sweet-tart taste. The flowers are also large and decorative, compared to other varieties.

Crimson Sky™ is a new cultivar developed at the Nikita Botanical Garden in Ukraine, notable for its unusual cold hardiness. The large, red flowers appear at the beginning of summer and the plant continues to bloom for several months. The fruits, red-orange on the outside and blood-red inside, ripen towards the end of autumn and are produced abundantly. The plant prefers intense warmth during summer for optimal growth.
