Rhododendron ponticum variegatum are reliable, evergreen shrubs of variable origin: South China, the Himalayas and even Europe.
Rhododendron ponticum variegatum is grown mainly for its spectacular foliage, which is dominated by the color white.
The flowers are pale lilac-purple and usually appear in early June. The leaves remain green unless temperatures drop drastically.
It can be planted at any time of the year, as long as the temperatures are positive.
Temperature: Withstands temperatures in the garden down to -23 degrees C.
Location: Grows well in a partially shaded area. Plant after all risk of frost has passed.
Soil: must be acidic, rich in humus, moist.
Fertilization is not recommended.
Pot diameter: 13 cm
Height with pot included: approx. 40 cm

Plants for the garden or terrace are grown in unprotected spaces or with minimal protection (shade nets or anti-hail nets). For this reason, naturally, they cannot have perfect foliage - the leaves may show marks, defects or other damage.
