The garden azalea or Japanese Rhododendron is a shrub, native to regions with mild winters in China, India, and Europe.
A fairly compact shrub, which grows up to a maximum of 80 cm in 10 years. It prefers slightly acidic, moist but well-drained compost and a semi-shaded position.
The "Hino Crimson" azalea is a hardy, easy-to-grow shrub that will create a true spectacle wherever you plant it. The red flowers appear from early April until mid-June.
