Full description and specifications
The garden azalea or Rhododendron Japanese, is a shrub, originally from the areas with mild winters of China, India, Europe.
A fairly compact shrub that grows up to a maximum of 80 cm in 10 years. It prefers slightly acidic, moist but well-drained compost and a semi-shaded position.
Azalea "Hino Crimson" is a hardy, easy-to-grow shrub that will create a real show wherever you plant it. The red flowers appear at the beginning of April until the middle of June.
Pot diameter: 19 cm
Height with pots included 40-45 cm
Garden azalea care instructions:
Azalea can be planted from spring to autumn, as long as the ground is not frozen. Planting will be done with a bale (soil on the roots), respecting its growth requirements.
It prefers semi-shaded places and an acidic substrate. It can be formed from a mixture of acidic peat, resinous tree bark (this helps the acidity of the soil). Watering is done differently depending on the repaul periods of the plant. During the growth period, watering is done in a larger quantity, so that the substrate is permanently replenished.
