Plumeria rubra 'Bordeaux' - flori parfumate
The species of the genus Plumeria, also known as Lei, Frangipani, or Hawaiian Palm, are represented by small-sized trees/shrubs of tropical origin, valued especially for their uniquely shaped flowers, with striking colors, fragrant in some species.
The flowers are used in Hawaii to make traditional garlands, used in many ceremonies, symbolizing affection, love, and generally given at important moments or upon the arrival/departure of a visitor.
The distinctive and intense fragrance, along with the ability to bloom abundantly and repeatedly from spring until late autumn, in a spectacular color range varying from white, yellow, pink, and red, even with gradients crossing all these colors in a single flower, gathers a large number of passionate growers who dedicate their time to species of this genus.
The color/shade of the flowers can be influenced by light, fertilizer, soil, and growing conditions.
Pot diameter: 14 cm
