Philodendron White Knight (babyplant)
Philodendron White Knight - an extremely striking variety, with large leaves featuring various patterns of variegation and splashes.
It is said that Philodendron White Knight originates from South America, but there is not enough data or evidence to confirm whether it is a natural mutation, artificial, or a distinct species. It is also sold under the name Philodendron sp. 'White Knight'.
It has a compact, upright growth and a strong root system, but it needs a support to climb on.
Morphological differences between Philodendron White Wizard, White Knight, and White Princess:
Philodendron White Princess has different leaves - narrower and sharper, with a green stem showing red traces in places. It does not require support.
Philodendron White Knight has rounder leaves, and the stem is red with visible white variegation. It needs a support to climb on.
Philodendron White Wizard has more rounded leaves, and the stem is green. It needs a support to climb on.
Some specimens may show defects/scars on the leaves. The level of variegation varies from one specimen to another.
Note: Plants with 2-3 leaves.
