Philodendron Imperial Red is included in the list of plants recognized for its air purifying qualities.
Philodendron or Philodendron is considered by NASA to be among the best plants for removing formaldehyde, especially when it is in high concentration.
Location: Philodendron prefers a bright area, away from direct sunlight. However, it will also tolerate a darker area. The foliage will become greener if it is placed in a shadier area.
Watering: The soil must be neither too wet nor too dry. Water regularly, allowing the soil to partially dry between waterings. Make sure the pot has good drainage.
Soil: Philodendron prefers a nutrient-rich soil that retains moisture well.
