Phalaenopsis violacea var. coerulea (peloric - butterfly) - parfumata

Phalaenopsis violacea var. coerulea Orchid - a small to medium-sized botanical species, heat-loving, with a pendulous growth habit, with a very short stem on which 3 – 4 elliptical leaves up to 25 cm long are inserted. The flowers are very fragrant and appear more frequently in spring or in the cold season. Flowering is sequential, with flowers appearing successively, opening 2 – 3 at a time, on pendulous, robust, fractiflex stems about 10 – 12.5 cm long. The flowers measure 3.5-5 cm in diameter and are strongly and pleasantly scented.
