Full description and specifications

Phalaenopsis lueddemanniana is a botanical species native to Manilla, Philippines, which impresses with the special chromaticity of the waxy flowers, the tendency to produce keiki and to rebloom from the persistent stems, but also with the delicate, sweet, very intense perfume.
This species exhibits a high temperature tolerance, as long as an adequate level of humidity and adequate ventilation is ensured. The optimal humidity for the growth of the Phalaenopsis lueddemanniana species is 80% and should be reduced to 60-70% during the winter, when watering will be done at intervals of 3-4 weeks (from mid-October to the end of February), being supplemented by spraying the leaves. However, complete drying of the substrate will not be allowed. During this period, when the growth of the plant will stop, it is not recommended to administer fertilizers. In the warm season, irrigation is recommended at intervals of about 7 days, keeping the substrate fairly moist (not wet). Fertilize every 1-2 weeks, with a dose of 25-50% of the concentration recommended by the manufacturer. The species can be successfully grown in pots with culture medium consisting of 12-16 mm pine bark, ensuring transplants only immediately after the flowering period.
