The Peperomia family is a very large family of plants, consisting of approximately 500 species. Most Peperomia species come from the Amazon basin in South America, where they grow in warm conditions.
Light: Place in a bright spot, but without direct sunlight.
Soil: Thrives well in humus-rich soils, moist but well-drained, or in peat-based soils (2 parts peat and 1 part perlite or sand).
Temperature: Prefers temperatures of 18-24 °C, not lower than 15 °C.
Water: Water moderately but consistently during the growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering during the winter season.
Fertilizer: Fertilize monthly in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize during the winter season.
Attention! The leaves of this plant are fragile and can easily break during transport.
