Peperomia 'Mystique'

Peperomia 'Mystique' is a popular houseplant, valued for its decorative leaves and easy care.

Care:

1. Light: Prefers moderate to bright, but filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. An ideal spot would be near a window facing east or west.

2. Watering: Water moderately. Allow the soil to dry partially between waterings. Peperomia does not tolerate excess water, so avoid letting water stand in the saucer under the pot.

3. Humidity: Benefits from high humidity but also does well in medium humidity conditions. Occasional misting can help, especially in winter months when indoor air is dry.

4. Temperature: Thrives at temperatures between 18-24°C. Avoid exposure to cold drafts or temperatures below 10°C.

5. Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growing season (spring-summer) with a diluted fertilizer made for houseplants.

6. Repotting: Repot as needed, usually once every two years, to replace the soil and allow the plant to grow.

Note: The leaves of this plant are very brittle and may break during transport or handling.
