Pelargonium Grandiflorum 'Regalia Chocolate' (English geraniums)
Pelargonium grandiflorum, also known as large-flowered geranium or English geranium, is a charming plant that finds its perfect place in the homes of plant lovers.
The original name refers to the size of the flowers, being a variety with large and brightly colored flowers, most often even bicolored.
Grandiflora geraniums bloom profusely from spring until the first frost in late fall. The flowering process can be extended by moving the flowers indoors when temperatures begin to drop.
Light and location: English geraniums love light! Make sure the plant gets plenty of light, but avoid direct, prolonged exposure to midday sun, which can burn its leaves. A spot with morning sun or filtered light throughout the day is ideal.
Watering: Pelargonium grandiflorum prefers to be watered regularly, but it is important to let the soil dry out a little between waterings. Avoid letting water stagnate at the base of the plant to prevent root rot. On hot summer days, you may need to water it more often, but in winter reduce the frequency of watering.
Temperature and humidity: This geranium enjoys moderate to warm temperatures during the day and slightly cooler at night. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 10°C, as cold can be harmful. It does not require specific humidity, being quite adaptable in this regard.
Fertilizer: To encourage abundant flowering, fertilize the plant once a month during the active growth period (spring-summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer intended for flowering plants.
Height with pot included: 25-30 cm
