Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn (Venus's Slipper)
Non-primary hybrid, with both parents (Paphiopedilum 'Astarte' and Paphiopedilum 'Gwen Hannen') non-primary hybrids in turn, Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn White surprises both with its delicate, pale colors, which vary from white to cream/vanilla or sometimes even pink, depending on the light intensity during the flowering period, but also by the large flower (similar to Maudiae (Black Jack, Femma)), relative to the height of the foliage. Like many Paphiopedilum hybrids, Rosy Dawn White can bloom both in summer and in winter, sometimes even benefiting from two blooming seasons, an aspect that influences the color of the flowers, to the delight of collectors.
The flowers show some color variations.
