Nolina recurvata, also known as Beaucarnea recurvata, is a remarkable decorative plant, popularly known as “elephant foot” or “bottle tree”. The name comes from the large, swollen caudex at the base, which resembles an elephant's foot trunk and serves as a natural water reserve. The long, narrow, and curved leaves elegantly cascade in green waterfalls, giving the plant an exotic and architectural appearance.
