Citronella geraniums (Mosquitaways) are suitable both as indoor plants and for terraces. The strong citrus scent of these geraniums acts as a deterrent to mosquitoes, which seem to dislike the smell of lemon.
Mosquitaways is a type of geranium resulting from the crossing of two Pelargonium species: scented-leaf Pelargonium and Pelargonium Angel. Compared to other scented-leaf geraniums, the Mosquitaways species blooms abundantly. Pelargonium Angels resemble English geraniums with serrated leaves and smaller flowers.

- place in a bright spot (not in direct sunlight)
- apply fertilizer every 2 weeks.
