Muscari armeniacum 'Night Eyes' (Grape Hyacinth)

Muscari armeniacum ‘Night Eyes’, also known as grape hyacinth, is a perennial plant valued for its deeply royal blue fragrant flowers with a slight white edge. These appear in mid-spring and are much larger compared to common muscari varieties. 

The plant reaches a height of about 15-20 cm and naturalizes well, making it ideal for borders, rock gardens, or mass plantings. It prefers places with full sun or partial shade and well-drained soils. 

Muscari armeniacum ‘Night Eyes’ produces fragrant flowers. These emit a pleasant and sweet scent, attracting pollinators such as bees. The fragrance is similar to that of grapes, hence the plant’s common name.
