Mimosa pudica, commonly known as mimosa or “Touch-me-not”, is famous for the spectacular movement of its leaves: at the slightest touch, they fold instantly and gradually return to their original shape after a few minutes. This unique behavior has made it an extremely beloved collector's plant, especially among children and lovers of interactive plants.
The leaves are delicate, compound, light green, and the plant can also produce globular, pink-lilac, fluffy-looking flowers.
