Pineapple mint - Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata'

Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata' is popularly called "pineapple mint" due to its pineapple-like aroma. It is a fantastic variety for lemonades, ice creams, cocktails and culinary preparations, but like other types of mint it has numerous medicinal properties.

It resists cold just like traditional varieties and is considered pest-free, the specific smell and essential oils it contains being a good repellent.
