Dipladenia, also called Mandevilla or Brazilian Jasmine , is a houseplant or patio plant, particularly decorative due to its abundance of large, trumpet-shaped, white, yellow, pink or red flowers.

Recommended growing conditions:

• Light : Prefers direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day. A southern or western exposure is ideal to encourage abundant flowering.
• Watering : Watering should be regular, keeping the soil constantly moist, but not soggy. On very hot summer days, daily watering may be necessary. Ensure good drainage of the pot to avoid root rot.
• Soil : A well-drained, rich mix, such as a potting mix for flowering plants, is ideal. The soil pH should be slightly acidic to neutral.
• Fertilization : Apply a liquid fertilizer rich in phosphorus, diluted to half the recommended strength, once every two weeks during the active growth period to stimulate flowering.
• Pruning : Pruning may be necessary to maintain the plant's shape and encourage branching. Prune after flowering or in early spring.
• Wintering : If you live in an area with cold winters, the plant should be brought indoors or protected, as it does not tolerate temperatures below zero degrees Celsius.
• Growth : It is a tropical liana that can grow rapidly, reaching lengths of up to 3-4 meters in a single season, under ideal conditions.
