Mandevilla Sundaville® Double Blush Pink is a striking variety of Mandevilla, known for its large, double, pale pink flowers that add a touch of grace to any outdoor space. This plant is ideal for gardens, terraces, and balconies, thanks to its lush appearance and ability to bloom abundantly throughout the summer.

The flowers are large, double, with multiple petals, having a delicate shade of pale pink, known as "blush pink." The flowers have a velvety look and are very attractive. Mandevilla Sundaville® Double Blush Pink blooms profusely from spring to autumn under proper care conditions.

Care:

  1. Light: Mandevilla Sundaville® Double Blush Pink prefers sunny spots, with direct sunlight for at least 6 hours a day. It can tolerate partial shade, but flowering will be more abundant in full sun.
  2. Soil: It prefers well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. A mix of garden soil with perlite or sand to improve drainage is ideal.
  3. Watering: Watering should be regular, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soaked. During summer, the plant may require daily watering, especially in very hot periods. In winter, watering should be reduced, allowing the soil to dry partially between waterings.
  4. Temperature: Mandevilla is a tropical plant and prefers temperatures between 20-30°C. It is sensitive to temperatures below 10°C, so in regions with cold winters, the plant should be brought indoors or protected.
  5. Fertilizing: Fertilize the plant every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a liquid fertilizer for flowering plants. Reduce fertilizing during autumn and winter.
  6. Propagation: Mandevilla can be propagated by stem cuttings taken in spring or summer. Cut 10-15 cm long cuttings, remove the lower leaves, and plant them in well-drained soil. Keep the soil slightly moist until rooting.
  7. Common problems: Monitor the plant for pests such as aphids, mites, and whiteflies. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the soil is well-drained.
